Berlin Calling: An Immersive Journey

The Berlin Calling trip was more than just a series of scheduled events; it was an immersive experience into the heart of political and strategic management. The detailed itinerary ensured that every moment was valuable, providing deep insights into both political mechanisms and industry innovations.


Berlin, with its historical and contemporary significance, served as the perfect backdrop for this journey. The carefully chosen locations and the high-caliber discussions with prominent figures like Julia Klöckner and Hildegard Müller enriched our understanding and provided actionable strategies for our professional lives.


Let’s take a look back at our Berlin Trip



Our day began at the picturesque Wiedmann Bakery. This cozy bakery provided the perfect setting for a relaxed late breakfast. As we enjoyed our pastries and coffee, the initial discussions set a positive tone for the day ahead. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet fellow participants and exchange expectations and experiences.


One of the most anticipated parts of our itinerary was the guided tour of the German Bundestag in the Reichstag Building. Our knowledgeable guide walked us through the building’s storied history and modern role in German politics. Standing in the plenary chamber and witnessing the architectural marvels, like the glass dome, was an awe-inspiring experience.


The opportunity to engage with our patron Julia Klöckner, a member of the German Bundestag and an influential political figure, was a highlight. Her insights into political stakeholder management were enlightening. We discussed current political challenges, strategies for effective engagement, and the importance of maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.




After our political deep dive, we headed to the DRIVE Volkswagen Group Forum. The ICONIC exhibition was a fascinating blend of history, innovation, and technology. It showcased Volkswagen’s journey and their vision for the future. The interactive displays and the futuristic concepts presented were particularly intriguing.


Our next stop was a meet-up with Hildegard Müller, President of the German Association of the Automotive Industry. Over coffee and cake, she shared her experiences and perspectives on the automotive industry’s future. Her talk was not only informative but also inspiring, highlighting the significant shifts and advancements in the sector.




We concluded our day with a delightful dinner at the Brasserie am Gendarmenmarkt. The ambiance of the brasserie was perfect for winding down and reflecting on the day’s events. The conversations over dinner were rich with insights and personal reflections, making it a fitting end to an eventful day.


This trip reinforced the importance of strategic relationship management and the benefits of learning from the best. The blend of historical tours, interactive exhibitions, and high-level discussions offered a comprehensive learning experience that we can apply to our daily business practices.
